Cody is a tv-series
about a police investigator named Cody and his partner Fiorelli. It is situated
in Sydney and they made 6 episodes. In 3 of them, Heather Mitchell plays
Simmonds, the boss of Cody.

Cody and Fiorelli try to catch diamond smugglers, but they can't find the
diamonds in the cars in which they were supposed to be. Cody then tries to
infiltrate with the dealers, who brought the diamonds from South-Africa. He gets
betrayed by a friend who asks him about his job at the police while he is
undercover and with the dealers. They get angry with Redding: the man who is
supposed to buy the diamonds, and ask him to give them 2 million dollars, or
else he will die. His daughter, Anna, hears the threatening.
Then Anna disappears. Cody thinks she is being kidnapped by the dealers, and a
bit later, a letter asking for a ransom is discovered. Later it appears that the
letter was made by the mother of Anna, to make sure the police wouldn't stop
looking for her. Meanwhile a big search for Anna is started by the police. Cody
finds her, and she tells him she had run away. She also tells him where he can
find valuable information about her father. Cody goes to collect the info, but
when he returns, Anna has left his home. She gets caught by the dealers, and
they kidnap her.
At last, her father cooperates with the police, knowing that he will get
arrested for smuggling, but also knowing that this is the best chance he has to
save his daughter...
