Cody is a tv-series about a police investigator named Cody and his partner Fiorelli. It is situated in Sydney and they made 6 episodes. In 3 of them, Heather Mitchell plays Simmonds, the boss of Cody. There's also a small role for Robert Carlton in this episode who played the biker in Spellbinder episode 20.

Cody and Fiorelli are investigating the theft of a painting. It was stolen from an old man, and it wasn't the first time that happened. The last time he got it back by letting his insurance company pay a ransom. After that the insurance fee raised a lot. In his investigation, Cody meets Claudia, who works at an art gallery where the certificate of the stolen painting is held. He almost immediately falls in love with her.
Meanwhile, he finds out that the federal police is following Claudia, because they think she smuggles paintings to Paris. Cody doesn't believe anything of it. He gets a lead that brings him to the insurance company. He believes that they stole the painting to raise the insurance fee that the old man has to pay, as they might have done before. He also hears that you can overpaint a painting to smuggle it to somewhere. When he sees that Claudia does this, he knows that the federal police was right afterall, and that she smuggled the painting to Paris.
He gives her one hour to turn herself in, but she doesn't appear at the appointment. Apparantly she flew to Paris.
